The day did not end as well as it began today. We left for the opening Mass with what we thought would be plenty of time to get a spot before Mass but the plan didn't quite work like that. When we got off the Metro we were immediately greeted by massive crowds, crowds that made it difficult for a group of of 67 to stay together. After a valiant effort, we realized that there was no way we were ever going to get close to the Mass or even comfortably near a screen to watch the Mass, the crowds were just too enormous and we didn't know that we should have gotten there atleast a few hours before it started.

We ended up leaving before Mass started and hung out outside the English speaking pilgrimage site until it opened. We then closed the day off with a private Mass at our gym celebrated by Fr. Bill. It was a true pilgrimage moment.

We now go to bed again in our gym that is hotter than the outside temperature with joy and exhaustion from a beautiful day.
